The prices of the song and dance celebration tickets range from 10 to 25 Euros. Tickets are available online, at Piletilevi and at the gates of Song Festival Grounds.

The performances and concerts of the song and dance celebration are held in the open air regardless of weather conditions.
Considering the changing nature of the weather in Estonia, please be prepared both for very hot and sunny weather as well as for wind and rain.
Umbrellas are not allowed at the song and dance celebration performances, so please wear suitable clothes and take along a raincoat, just in case.

Song and dance celebrations are an old and very important tradition for Estonia and Estonians. The first song celebration took place in 1869 and the first dance celebration in 1934. In Estonia we have four nation-wide song and dance celebrations in the course of every ten years: every 2nd and 7th year of the decade a youth song and dance celebration and every 4th and 9th year of the decade a general song and dance celebration. In 2003 the tradition of song and dance celebrations was entered to UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
